The Mark of the Beast

So many Christians today seem to be needlessly concerned with somehow being tricked into taking the Mark of the Beast. And the reason is that they are ignorant of God’s plan and purpose for the ages. The Bible is clear that the tribulation is “the day of Jacob's trouble.” It is a time when God will once again be dealing with his covenant people, Israel. Let that sink in.

God showed me long ago that the essence of every sin you'll ever commit is your will. Take, for instance, Adam and Eve. The Bible is clear that Eve, being in the transgression, was deceived, but not Adam; he ate of the fruit willingly. He willingly and knowingly chose to disobey God. Notice the Bible says in Adam (not Eve) all die (1 Corinthians 15:22). Now, I know there is a lot more to this thing than what I'm mentioning here–Adam being the corporate head of the human race and so forth–but the truth remains Eve was deceived. And it is no mere coincidence that the Bible goes out of its way to mention it.

In Isaiah Chapter 14:12-14, we find that Satan uses the two words "I will" exactly 5 times (5 being the number of death). Notice that it was the very moment Satan said in his heart 5 times, "I will," that the Bible records for us that he died spiritually.

"How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! how art thou cut down to the ground, which didst weaken the nations! For thou hast said in thine heart, I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God: I will sit also upon the mount of the congregation, in the sides of the north: I will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I will be like the most High."

In 2 Peter 3:9, the Bible says, “The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.” So the question you have to ask yourself is if it's not God's will that men perish, whose will is it? I believe the answer to that question is self-evident. If it's not God's will, it's your will.

Many of us who are familiar with the events of World War II are aware that Hitler (a Roman Catholic) was a type of the Anti-Christ. He was a picture or a foreshadowing of that man of sin who is to come. Do you know what Hitler did before he began to round up Jews and exterminate them? He introduced a Mark that the Jewish people were to wear. That Mark was the Star of David. And the Jews wore that thing proudly. None of them had to be tricked or deceived into taking it. They all took it willingly and displayed it openly, because for them, it was considered a badge of honor. Do you know what this so-called Star of David represents? I say so-called because it's actually the star of Remphan. If you count the triangles on that star, there are 3 sets of 2 (3x2=6), each pair having two 3-sided triangles in it. That equals 666. Moreover, a perfect triangle consists of three 60-degree angles. The sum of which is 180, which in essence is 6x3. Basically, each triangle reads 666. A mere coincidence, I'm sure.

"And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads: And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name. Here is wisdom. Let him that hath understanding count the number of the beast: for it is the number of a man; and his number is Six hundred threescore and six." (Revelation 13:16-18).

Now, please do not go around saying that I said the Mark of the Beast is the star of David. That is not the intent of this article. The intentions of this article are to show that no one is going to be deceived into taking that Mark. In any case, I tend to believe that Dr. Ruckman got it right when, in 1960 😳, he wrote the book "The Mark of the Beast." For those of you who may not be familiar with that work, I believe it is clear that the Mark of the Beast is the letter X. As they say, "X marks the spot." I believe that's why every time a Catholic gets up from praying, they mark themselves with the letter X. And every time Ash Wednesday rolls around, every devout Catholic marks their forehead or hand with the letter X. I believe it's why the world unknowingly calls the fella that changes the game (think football) the X-factor. Because there is a man (that man of sin) who, when he comes on the scene, is going to change the game as we know it. Anyways, if you haven't read that book, you can get a copy of it at the Bible Baptist Bookstore in Pensacola (https://kjv1611.org/products/the-mark-of-the-beast).

You know how I know NO ONE will ever be tricked into taking the Mark of the Beast? Because, apart from everything else I have already mentioned, God does not hold people responsible for things they don't know are wrong. This was evident in the case of Eve, and it is evident in Romans Chapter 1. This is why no child who dies before they reach the age of accountability will ever go to hell. And that is why the very thought of infant baptism is ludicrous. I mean, what kind of God would send someone (and especially a child) to hell for all eternity over the things they didn't even know were wrong? Would a righteous, just God do that? Of course not. That's not justice, that's injustice. "Shall not the Lord of all the earth do right?" And this is why God, through the Apostle Paul, declares unequivocally that the whole world is "without excuse." No one on the day of judgment will be able to stand before God and say they didn't know. And this will be especially true during the tribulation. The reason is that God will once again be personally manifesting Himself on earth. There will be two witnesses (Moses & Elijah) who can't die breathing fire out of their mouths. There will be an angel flying in the heavens, declaring to the whole world the everlasting Gospel. There will be plagues and natural disasters (the likes of which have not been since the world began). There will be 144,000 male Jewish virgins preaching the word of God (the true Jehovah's Witnesses, not the mess Charles Taze Russell and Judge Rutherford came up with) throughout the world, and so forth.

Listen to me, folks, only a biblical imbecile can, with all the evidence in Scripture to the contrary, conclude that God would allow anyone to be tricked into taking the Mark of the Beast. The very thought of it goes contrary to everything in revealed Scripture. God is good, and God is righteous. That's His nature. And that means it is impossible for God to do anything to the contrary. All the actions of God are just. And that means even in judgment and in condemnation, He cannot and will not act outside His character. May the grace of our Lord be with you all.
